Amit Bhatia, Founder & Non-Executive Chairman
Amit is Founder of Aspire, the John P. McNulty Prize-winning social enterprise in Education & Training (www.aspireindia.org). Amit quit a successful corporate career in 2007 to serve the social sector. He was CEO of WNS Knowledge Services, India’s first outsourcing company to list on NYSE with a $1 billion IPO; Country Manager- India for FreeMarkets Inc., an online auction pioneer in B2B procurement; and most notably, Founder of McKinsey Knowledge Centre, the consulting firm’s global research centre.
Amit Bhatia is currently CEO of GSG or The Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (www.gsgii.org) since April 2017. GSG is an independent global steering group catalysing impact investment and entrepreneurship to benefit people and the planet. Prior to GSG, Amit was Founding CEO of India’s Impact Investors Council (www.iiic.in) from 2014 to 2016, when impact investments in India grew from $400 million to $1 billion annually.
Amit completed Bachelor’s from Shri Ram College of Commerce; Master’s from Delhi School of Economics with a Gold Medal; Cost Accounting from ICMAI; and is a Fellow at The Aspen Institute and Aspire Circle.

Rohit is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of management experience in consumer industries. Rohit spent 12 years in Finance, Planning and Business Development at Yum! Brands (erstwhile Pepsico Restaurants- KFC & Pizza Hut chain) after 2 years of Audits with SBB (Ernst & Young affiliate); 2 years at Macmillan Education working closely with the CEO to drive restructuring and deliver a turn-around; and, 6 years in entrepreneurial roles in two start-ups- GIRC and Aspire, where he worked closely with the CEOs for fund-raising, team and business-building. Rohit has deep experience in building strong teams, partner-network development, and, engineering robust product/service processes and delivery.
Rohit has a Bachelor’s degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce (Delhi University) and did his schooling at Mount St. Mary’s School, New Delhi. Moreover, Rohit completed a Case-Method Teaching Workshop with Harvard Business Publishing at IIM, Ahmedabad and is a passionate trainer in Leadership & Entrepreneurship.
Ashu Gulati, Chief Finance Officer
Ashu has been with Aspire since 2007. During his career at Aspire, Ashu has been instrumental in implementation of processes and systems in Finance, Legal and Administration. Ashu started as a General Manager and was appointed as the CFO in 2012. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of Finance, Accounts, Budgeting & Planning in sectors like Manufacturing, Software Development, Educational & Hospitality. His diverse portfolios have included designing processes and policies, systems development, MIS Reports, Statutory & Internal Audits and Payroll; liaison with Indian and Multinational Banks and Government Departments like Income Tax, Company Law & Service Tax. He has functional experience on ERP in Finance & Accounts Modules. He was also awarded Best Employee for 2 years in his earlier assignments. Ashu completed his B.Com. (Hons.) from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, CA (Inter) from ICAI and is an MBA in finance. He is passionate about music and loves to play guitar.
Triansha is the Chief Learning and Development Officer and Heads Leadership Pro at Aspire. She is a Communication Specialist and Behavioural Skills Facilitator and Coach (ICF Certified). She has facilitated sessions for and coached individuals corporations and educational institutions globally, for over twelve years. Triansha has also worked as an editor and writer for several corporate clients. Amongst others, she worked for McKinsey and Company, a leading management consulting firm, as a Communications Specialist. She is an ICF-certified coach, certified in Hogan Assessments and a member of the Indian Society for Applied and Behavioural Sciences (ISABS).
Consultant – Marketing and Operations
Lavina Sequera has more than 13 years of experience in socio commercial projects and humanitarian assistance, supporting women empowerment, artisan livelihood and sustainability in India. She is committed to planet positive initiatives in areas of Climate Change, Economic Development and Research. Lavina has an in depth exposure in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Project Management, Market Research and Leadership across 70000 villages in India.
A dedicated philanthropist supporting the cause of women and children, she is engaged in UN Projects such as Mapping Rural Tanzania to end Female Genital Mutilation whilst providing immediate assistance to orphanages. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Mumbai University and is also a winner of the Klausman Women in Business Scholarship 2016 award from Zonta International for Excellence in Career and Serving Humanity with High Moral and Professional Standards.
